Who is Marie Louise?

I'm Marie Louise.

Author, educator, somatic facilitator — and an explorer of the human sleeve, the body / mind / energies / spirit form we walk through. Life force moving through, as, and is.

The lens I see through is universal. From here, the past is not fixed. The future is not separate from now. Every moment is a doorway, and consciousness is the curator of the experience.

These teachings expand awareness into the life that is — full, vibrant, whole. Not through information. Through process. Not in theory. In skin.

What this body has lived

I have prospected black opal in the semi-desert of Australia for twenty years — wild land, extraordinary people, the body buzzing when a hue of colour rose out of an underground drift.

I have a son who is among my greatest teachers.

I have a family of mirrors — siblings, parents, partners — who continue to teach me about strength and limitation, nurture and cycle, resonance and shape.

I have walked through experiences the world labels trauma, and experiences the world labels magic, and through every variety of the ordinary in between.

None of this is the past. It is all alive in this skin. When the present-moment awareness shifts, the patterns of history shift with it. The trajectory of what's coming shifts. Time and space open from the inside.

What changed in me is not what happened. What changed is the frequency at which I meet it.

That meeting is the work I share. Discover Worlds Within, my book, is a record of what I have learnt and the practices that walk me through.

What I believe — in one line

Physical maturity happens with age. Emotional, psychological and spiritual maturity happens in process.

You don't grow up by getting older. You grow up by becoming response-able for what is moving through your skin. That work is the work. Everything I offer is built around it.

What I do now

I host retreats and adventure immersions — including an annual cycling retreat through India that combines movement, breath, embodied process and the wild medicine of being far from your ordinary life.

I run process workshops that move people through the survival-to-thriving threshold using somatic, breath-based and consciousness-based practices.

I work with corporate teams and organisations on nervous system regulation, coherence, and the embodied skill of leading from a regulated body rather than a reactive one.

I guide people one-on-one through Essence Energetics® — three, six and twelve-month programs for transmuting the patterning that has been quietly running the show.

I facilitate ceremonies for weddings, transitions, openings, and the sacred markings of a life lived consciously.

I co-founded the Evolve Yourself Institute — a body of work and a community of practitioners committed to the elevation of human consciousness through embodied process.

What I want you to know

I am not here to fix you. I don't think you need fixing.

I'm here as a fellow explorer — a pioneer, a guru, a master, a healer, a creator, in the same way you are. I trust this work because it is what I am living. The path home is not up there or out there. It is in your own skin, in your own life, in this moment now.

Whether you come to me through a retreat in India, a corporate workshop, a ceremony, a program, or simply by reading the book — what is offered is the same thing through different doors: the practices, the language, and the held space for awareness to expand into the life that is — full, vibrant, whole.
